Tiny Dogs, Big Hearts
Milou and Olin Collective chose Maltese pet photography for Dakila—known lovingly as Dax—and his companion Maginoo, or Gino. At 13 and 14 years old, these senior dogs carried a presence far beyond their size. To honor their unique bond, we designed a session that celebrated calm energy, deep connections, and years of shared routines. From Dax’s confident gaze to Gino’s quiet closeness, we captured each moment with intention.

Personalities That Lead the Way
Dax, a white Maltese with a sharp mind and strong opinions, made it clear when it was time to eat or head to bed. Meanwhile, Gino, a shy and devoted poodle mix, stayed close at every step. Throughout the session, we prioritized their comfort, using treats to guide focus and trust. By respecting Dax’s sensitivity around his neck and Gino’s protective loyalty, we let their true personalities shine.
Family-style portraits highlighted their bond naturally and unforced—allowing your pets to be seen exactly as they are.
Guided With Care
We paced the session slowly, so that these senior dogs remained relaxed and engaged. Rather than forcing poses, we followed their lead, creating authentic pet photography built on comfort. Meaty treats and favorite squirrel toys inspired playful moments, while quiet pauses revealed softer expressions. As a result, the final gallery radiated warmth, humor, and unmistakable connection.
Preserve the moments that make your house feel like home.
A Legacy in Every Frame
Pet photography becomes meaningful when it honors the relationship, not just the image. For Dax and Gino, the portraits captured more than photogenic faces—they preserved a shared life full of routines, loyalty, and unconditional companionship. At the same time, Milou and Olin Collective designs family and pet portraits to celebrate the stories that matter most.
When pets are family, their memories deserve a place on your walls—so celebrate their story while you can.
