Onto our favorite part of Emily and Greg’s Viansa Winery wedding as their Sonoma wedding photographer, their portraits!
The Viansa Winery’s vine covered walls are almost so perfect they seem unreal! We love using these shaded alleyways and covered walls as textures for our portraits and wedding day photos.
One of Greg’s favorite activities is shooting hoops with his friends, so we couldn’t help but snap a few groom portraits with his basketball!
Greg and his groomsmen were most dapper in their crisp button down shirts and black bow ties. The wedding was a formal black tie affair, and these guys started out in their casual Converses before changing into their formal shoes for the Viansa Winery ceremony.
But these guys were so fun, they just had to throw a splash of surprise into the mix with their matching bright argyle socks!
We are pretty impressed at how this photo of Emily and Greg’s gorgeous shoes really portrays their personalities! Finding unique portrait opportunities is so fun for us and helps mix up the couple session a bit.
Following along with the wedding day color theme, Emily’s bridesmaids were clad in pretty pink knee length dresses, which were a perfect pop of color against Viansa Winery’s green vines! Even their floral bouquets were a mix of whites, reds, pinks, and purples, while Emily was a gorgeous contrast of an all white gown and bouquet.

Wedding day silliness! It is so important to us here at Tinywater that you are as comfortable as possible with us, because it helps us capture you at your best! With Emily and Greg, this was not hard at all – we can’t say enough good things about these newlyweds!
As the sun sets over the wine country valley, the sky gets a little hazy, and we fall even more in love with where we are and what we do. Emily and Greg made Viansa Winery even more beautiful than ever with these last few portraits.
We hope you are a little more inspired for your big day with these photos from Emily and Greg’s Viansa Winery wedding.
