Chelsea and Jeff had the right idea when they chose Point Reyes as the location for their engagement shoot. As a photographer, my wheels were turning right when we started discussing the idea. My mind was wandering to oyster shucking, old ships, frisbee and wide open fields.
I think it was the perfect spot to showcase their deep yet playful love for one another.
Jeff brought along their favorite beer, Pliny the Elder…talk about delicious! Chelsea snuck in their camping mugs for a special lunch out in the wide open field.
They thought I wasn’t looking but of course, I captured her kiss mid table lunge.
This ship is everything I could want and more for a photo backdrop. You’ve got the rustic and nostalgic feeling, it begs a story of letting their love set sail onto the vast oceans.
I told ya, there would be shucking going down! It’s a must do when you’re in the North Coast!
Frisbee is such an under rated sport, am I right?! I was so happy to hear the couple celebrates the sport anytime they visit a local park.
For the beach, they made a quick outfit change into a patterned top and a typographic tee–looking dapper I must say!
I just love the soft light hitting their faces. They’re such a darling bunch, don’t you think?!
