You’re in for a real treat today! Nicole and Jake’s Modern San Francisco Mansion Wedding was spectacular. There’s no two ways about it! We were so thrilled to recently see this timeless wedding featured on Style Me Pretty. Both the ceremony and reception took place at the dreamy Flood Mansion, and Nicole being the bride, designer and florist whipped herself up a breathtaking wedding.
We were so happy to have been a part of this wedding, and we are even more happy that we get to share all this beauty with you! We love you Nicole + Jake, and wish you a lifetime of happiness!
We though a Vera Wang gown was the best choice for Nicole’s Modern San Francisco Mansion Wedding, hands down. Vera Wang is a classic, yet always vamping up her gorgeous line. Especially with Nicole’s choice of black ribbon with her gown, it just made the dress all that better.
The Bride’s bouquet is modern, playful and timeless. The best way to describe this Modern San Francisco Mansion Wedding was described perfectly by Style Me Pretty, “modern with a twist”.
From the Bride… “From the beginning Jake and I wanted wedding that was classic and timeless. We never wanted to look back at our pictures and feel like they were dated. So we selected the things we loved and pieced every detail together one by one.”
These two are perfection, and we love that we were asked to be a part of their modern San Francisco mansion wedding. There is no place we would have rather been. What we love about this modern San Francisco wedding is that everything, even down to the little details like the stationary, that the whole theme is paid attention to. Love it!
We love everything about her vision in pink and we think her modern mansion wedding was a success! Don’t you?
This final shot on the balcony took our breath away, which is the best way to end a perfect modern mansion wedding like this.
The lovely Bride gave us a little insight into her beautiful day, and bestows a little advice to Brides planning for their special day…
“We enjoyed every minute of our wedding, however as everyone says it goes by entirely too fast. What we loved most was that we took the time to write our own vows to each other. There were days leading up to the wedding that we were so overwhelmed with other details that we almost thought it might be easier just to let the officiant speak, but we persevered and I wrote mine and Jake wrote his and it’s the one thing we cherish most in our wedding film. Yes, it takes more effort but definitely worth it. Now I have our vows framed in our home and its something our family can cherish for years to come.
My advice for other brides would be to let your vendors do their thing! You hired them and you should trust that they will see your vision through. The less of a control freak you are the better the end product tends to turn out. Even with my own brides, when they give me strict instructions on how to arrange their flowers and what exact flowers should be used, I feel confined and uninspired. The brides who give me their color palette and overall vision and just tell me to “do my thing” get something more unique and less cookie cutter. That was a pact Jake and I made from the beginning…to just let our vendors do their thing! ”
A special thanks to all the vendors who helped make this magical.
