If you had a chance for a “do-over” in life, what would you do differently?I would want to be the owner of the restaurant with the most instagrammable food./3. How did your parents meet?They met through friends in the Philippines. One said hey, and the other said hello./4. What do you feel most proud of?I am most proud of being able to pursue my passion of photography. It’s a passion that turned into my living./5. What is your favorite music?Hip-Hop from all eras./6. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?I want to go to Mars because it a new world where humankind has yet to explore./7. If you could only keep five possessions, what would they be?My five possessions would be my camera, car, my original kitchen knife from culinary school, my favorite Yale hat, and a photo of my family./8. What teacher in school made the most impact on you and why?My high school junior year english teacher. She asked a lot of why’s from us. Before taking any action, I ask myself why and decide if there is any value in the actions I’m taking./9. What do you want your tombstone to say?Here lies Don, he loved life and lived through it to the fullest./10. What was one of your most defining moments in life?Winning my first bowling tournament when I was 12 because I had the confidence and mindset that I can reach success in my interests as long as I worked hard./11. Why did you choose to be a photographer?I saw my friends publishing images to their myspaces and I always was in awe of what they were capturing./12. How do you spend your free time?I spend my free time either driving through the twisty roads of canyons or cooking food and then photographing it./13. If you won the lottery, what would you do?I would not tell anyone and try to live the most normal life possible. I would still shoot and hustle everyday, but give myself treats for working hard. These treats would be new places to visit in the world./14. Who do you most admire in life?I admire my mentors who have given me advice in life. They have given me their knowledge of their past experiences and also have learned from them./15. What are you most afraid of?I am most afraid of drowning./16. What feels like love to you?When you see your loved ones at any time and frequency and the reactions from both sides are always filled with joy./17. What is your strongest personal quality?Always wanting to do a good job./18. What was your most embarrassing moment?During a bouquet toss, the bride tossed the bouquet and landed right on my head. We of course took a second take./19. What job would you be terrible at?Cell splitting in a lab./20. What age do you feel right now and why?I feel that I’m in my twenties. I’m constantly hustling and always off into an adventure. I take on events in life one at a time and try my best to live in the present./21. If you could witness any event of the past, present, or future, what would it be?I would want to witness the making of our universe. How big was the big bang?!/22. What is a skill you’d like to learn and why?I would want to learn how to interior design. There are many homes I’ve seen on apartment therapy and wished I lived in these homes!/23. What does a perfect day look like to you?A perfect day is going on a drive through some twisty roads. Stopping at one point and having a picnic with some friends./24. How would your friends describe you?They describe as mellow, but also assertive in my interests. I tend to like to crack jokes and constantly be in a good mood.
