Emily and Vishal have so much personality between the two of them! Can you feel it already? They know who they are, what they like and what they love about each other! They both have a strong hold in the book smarts and have the fun energy to back it up!
We first met out in the forest to capture some forest vibes with moody lighting. How clutch is the dappled afternoon light, peaking through the pine needles?!
As a photographer, I love showcasing time and place for my couples. Being able to capture them in their school setting is such a fun twist on a traditional engagement shoot! I think they’ll love looking back at where their love began to blossom in the years to come!
We also get the chance to create photos that play upon their daily lives. I love how Emily is finding humor and fun in Vishal’s medical tools!

I love this over the head shot, it’s so playful and raw. Who knows what you can accomplish by putting your heads together—am I right?!
You can tell they obviously spent some time on this grassy area between classes at UC Berkley, toting along their heavy textbooks, coffee mugs and messenger bags.
