I get questions every day from my clients on everything from how to prepare for their session and where the best room for a particular framed product might be. I’m so happy to be here for my clients in this way, and to offer my advice when they need it. Whether it be about portraits or their pet!
Recently, I had three separate clients call me asking the same thing: “Should we include our pet in our upcoming family photo session?”
YES! You should! And here’s why:
1) Your pet is family, too
They’re not people, but they’re just as important, so don’t leave them out! You will love having them side by side with you in your family portraits! Our pets have been with us for years so lets include them in our photos! Lets ensure they’re with us for a lifetime.
2) Your family members may feel more comfortable having their familiar furry companion by their side.
Kids especially seem to open up on camera when their four legged partner is nearby, and I’m often able to capture some truly adorable bonding moment shots! Having their family pet with them could ease any nervousness they may have during the photo session. It could bring both out their fun and goofy sides out!
3) The photographic memories made will be around to cherish for a lifetime!
Time passes and things change. What better way to document the part your special pet plays in your household? Frame that bad boy & stick him up on the wall where all your family members and visitors can see YOUR family!
Talk to me about your goals for your session – including whether or not you may want to have a pet present – and we’ll figure it out together!
