In our line of work, we can’t help but look back on the weddings we have been a part of and smile. Jina + Jonathan‘s Blush and Champagne Calistoga Ranch Wedding was certainly one of those weddings! Everything about this wedding is swoon worthy, and of course we always have a bit of a soft spot for wedding is the wine country! Especially in Calistoga!
This intimate outdoor wedding ceremony and reception with a blush and champagne color palette was such a memorable wedding in Calistoga, CA. Their Calistoga Ranch wedding was soft, sweet, organic and most of all, romantic. We always love working with A Savvy Event, and they both designed and planned the event! The wedding took place at Calistoga Ranch, and its lush and secluded setting was the perfect idyllic backdrop for all of Jina + Jonathan’s wedding dreams to come true! Calistoga Ranch is a part of the Auberge Resort Collection, so of course the venue was nothing more than absolutely gorgeous. It was an elegant vision in blush and champagne.
Jina + Jonathan first met in medical school in Boston. Their love grew and grew, and then Jonathan proposed at the oh-so romantic Muir Beach Overlook. We were so honored to go back with them to the proposal site to shoot their engagement session.
During the cocktail hour, the bride changed into a hanbok (traditional Korean dress) that her grandmother wore for her wedding day. It was such a special tribute to the brides grandmother. It is so amazing to see unique and special traditions that show the couples personality on their most special day of all.
The ceremony and a good part of the reception took place on Lommel Lawn, until the cake cutting and dancing broke out. Then the festivities moved its way into the Wine Cave at Calistoga Ranch. As favors to the guests, personalized tins filled with green tea were given to remember the special day by, made by a Korean brand called O’Sulloc. It was a perfect night for a perfect couple.
