David Beckstead is truly the renaissance man of wedding photography. We hosted a David Beckstead workshop last week at the studio and was fortunate enough to spend some time with this amazing photographer. Amazingly talented and hardworking with a vision that will knock your socks off, this man is not only dedicated to improving himself, he is also dedicated to helping other photographers realize their dreams and better themselves in the process. We were so inspired to learn from a man who not only thinks about the industry’s present state but also the future of the industry and his own life as a father, husband and photographer. Artist and educator, David was such a gracious teacher, we learned so much not only from watching him shoot out in the field, but also from his in depth and extremely beneficial critiques of the work of the students in the class. What started as a simple workshop basically recharged and re-energized us for the future, inspiring us to take our style and photography to the next level. If you have a chance to sign up for one of his workshops, don’t even think twice about it, just GO! We would like to thank David from the bottom of our hearts for opening his heart, mind and world to us. We are proud to bow down to him and call him sensei!
