The Mortero family and I headed out in search of the best, most colorful murals San Francisco had to offer, I think we hit the jackpot! Upon seeing this mountainous geometric setting painted on a pastel door, we know this was the one! I had them line up in a straight line and start holding hands, in a wide spread fashion to make a fun shape with their arm spans. In no time, they were playing around, swinging to the music, and exchanging hugs and smiles.
This shot of these two sisters warms my heart, it’s the start of a fun lifetime relationship. Having a sister close in age is such a unique experience. I hope they look back on these and smile when they’re in their 30’s.
When I noticed this cubism magenta shake painting, I knew I needed them to get low so I could capture the beauty. It’s great to work with different height angles to make the session feel like 10 locations in 1.
Getting them of walk down the alley was cool because it feels like I just happened to capture them, as they’re headed to dinner, party of 4!
I adore how mom and dad are framing the little ones, this could be seen as their over arching love, if you will 😉
I told you giggles were involved! Dad is acting as a launching pad for his little girl! So much fun energy can happen amongst a beautiful vibrant setting.
Thank you Mortero family—I hope I get to capture more fun family memories soon! <3
