This Southwestern birthday party was thrown for our puppy friend Phoenix! The Southwestern details alone of this birthday party are so delightful that is was even featured on 100 Layer Cakelet! We got to work with some very talented vendors on this party, Erin of Scarlett & Grace and Amanda of Paper Heart Patisserie. The color palette that we chose as inspiration is bright, colorful, wild and fun so the inclusion of many colors was important for this fiesta! Colors like turquoise, orange, yellow and greens with whispers of red were the main colors that inspired us when planning this fun Southwestern birthday party!
One our favorite things about southwestern style is the rich colors, patterns and textures! That’s why we had so much fun with the textures and textiles! Overlapping the different patterns and textures made this Southwestern puppy party eclectic and fresh!
The fun adaptation of dream catchers with string made for a great DIY element. There is one thing we could not do without for the Southwestern birthday party, and that was a DIY element! We always enjoy making something from scratch, and these dream catchers made for a lovely component to this birthday party! 
Flower crowns and doggie collar garnishes make for the perfect accents to this party! Complete with barbeque, amigurumi cactus favors and a photobooth with festive props this birthday party was a delightful party with wonderful Southwestern charm!
