Meet Norica.
Say hello to a true queen! Norica is a gorgeous English Cream Golden Retriever that we got to spend some time with in our Sacramento studio recently, and we’re in love. Just look at how beautiful she is with her pretty flower and sparkling pearls! We couldn’t have asked for a better behaved model for our pet portraits. Norica is such a good girl!
Frequently, Golden retrievers are hailed as “fun and faithful”, with fiercely wagging tails and a cheerful gait. Inquisitive and energetic, the typical ‘calling card’ of the breed lies in their personality. Perfect as family dogs, goldens are playful and trustworthy, making them incredible companions to children.
Norica’s mom, Rosemarie, has had her since she was a tiny pup. “She has a sweet, loving personality, ” Rosemarie told us. “She is always in a good mood, and is very sensitive to other people’s temperaments.” We can definitely see that!
Pearls, Pink, & Pretty Pet Portraits
With Norica’s natural beauty playing a key factor, this pet photo session felt almost effortless. Combining her good looks with her excellent behavior, it would be an understatement to say we’re just ‘impressed’. She posed like she was made for it, props and all.
After meeting both Norica and Rosemarie, we sat down and got to know them a bit more. A huge fan of belly rubs, Norica is an excellent road trip companion and sibling to the other 3 rescue dogs that Rosemarie owns. When asked what most motivated Norica, Rosemarie tells us, “Food probably!” We can relate!
When choosing props to go with Norica’s shoot, Rosemarie decided to focus on Norica’s femininity. Soft, pink flowers and gorgeous antique pearls completed the sweet pup’s look. We have to be honest – she absolutely rocked it! It was hard to narrow down photos of this pretty girl’s post, because each one was just as flawless as the last.
We’re so happy to have met this beautiful duo, and are honored to have been a part of Norica’s very first photoshoot!
