We gave you guys a little sneak peek from Karen and Mike’s 2010 Tinywater wedding and now we’re going to reveal the rest of their gorgeous San Francisco wedding photos! Karen and Mike got married at Old First Presbyterian church in a traditional ceremony followed by a fun DIY reception at their favorite San Francisco restaurant, Town Hall San Francisco.
Karen was an amazing hands on DIY bride, and with the help of her brother, did all of the paper details herself! Yes, all of the paper, including the save the dates, invitations, menus, escort cards, and individual guest table settings. We can’t wait to show more of her handy work in our next post. Her mason jar theme was the perfect amount of vintage and rustic, and her mason jar stamp helped tie the theme together on the paper goods.
Having a few hours to get ready with the bride and groom is so important to us because capturing San Francisco wedding photos leading up to the big first glance and ceremony can really help to tell the couple’s wedding day story.

So happy to finally see each other on their wedding day. The narrative quality of these first glance photos are so fun and some of our favorites. Karen was all smiles as we got ready to trek through the city with the wedding party for some city portraits.
Do you love the San Francisco sunlight as much as we do? The consistent fog really helps diffuse the light perfectly, creating a great setting for wedding day portraits outside.
