Meet Murphy.
Our hearts melted the second we set eyes on this little cute poof of a pup! Murphy is a mixed breed doggo, and absolutely loves his mama, Joli. We spent some time with the two of these cuties in our downtown Sacramento pet photography studio last year, and it was a blast! Murphy was a happy little bundle of energy, and seeing that fluffy tail us his flick around excitedly brought huge smiles to our faces.
With pet photography, we love all animals, but dogs seem to be the ones brought in the most by their families. We can’t really blame them! Seeing how excited their little pups get during our shoots is so much fun, and adding the experience of a professional photoshoot to your memories with your furbaby is truly irreplaceable.
Joli and Murphy were a match made in heaven. You can just see the love and adoration shining out of their eyes – it’d be impossible to say who loves who more!
A bonding experience for all.
We like to treat each photoshoot with the special attention it deserves. Each pet owner is completely different, as are all of their pets! In pet photography, it’s important to keep in mind that your subjects aren’t people. They rely on their owners, and us as the photographers, to “hold their hands” – or, paws, as it were! We like to take things a little slower, allowing each pet to grow accustomed to the atmosphere and our presence without causing them to be overwhelmed. Stress and fright aren’t emotions we want to see in our finished photos – but love and happiness definitely are!
We often ask the pet owners of each animal if there are any special things we should know or be aware of. In some cases, treats are crucial to the experience – but in others, a few well placed scratches behind the ear can do the trick. Each pet photoshoot is as unique as the last, and we love the variety!
