We love being a Los Angeles engagement photographer and Nick and Jason’s recent Bash, Please Durham Ranch wedding in Napa sparked our need to share their gorgeous Los Angeles engagement photos from the end of last year! We had so much fun playing around the diverse urban environment Los Angeles provides and can’t wait to show you how much fun we had as this beautiful couple’s Los Angeles engagement photographer.
Describing themselves as “66% urban and 33% nature”, we were happy to take a weekend away to be their Los Angeles engagement photographer. These two are so stylish and we couldn’t help but admire the details they throw into the mix, like the fun patterns on each of their ties!
We couldn’t help but explore these fun urban environments with Nick and Jason, who love hiking but also appreciate everything a city has to offer. We think their Los Angeles home sounds like the perfect place for them!
Nick and Jason love going to movies at the Arclight, trying new restaurants, and playing each other at chess! Jason taught Nick how to play and we thought it would be the perfect prop for this Los Angeles engagement session. As a Los Angeles engagement photographer, we love showing peeks into what each couple enjoys doing together, especially when it includes spending time playing games.
We were loving how perfect the sunlight was shining into their concrete cube while their game of chess was in session. The golden Los Angeles light was right on cue for this amazing couple!
We totally took some style cues from these two. Nick describes his style as preppy, but not stodgy, and inspired by J. Crew – lots of polo shirts and oxford button-ups and often a pair of Chuck Taylors. Jason is slightly edgy, fashion forward and inspired by Urban Outfitters – with lots of plaid.
As Nick and Jason’s Los Angeles engagement photographer we can’t wait to show you more of the fun we had with these guys! Stay tuned tomorrow for some awesome photos from exploring around the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, including some fun shots inside Chris Burden’s Urban Light installation in the courtyard!
