A few months ago we got to work with our dear friend Mary Phan of Very Merry Events as she coordinated and designed this nautical inspiration shoot at Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery. We were so lucky to not only work with some of the best bay area wedding vendors at the super gorgeous Casa Real in Pleasanton, California, but to also score a feature on Grey Likes Weddings! We can’t wait to show a few more peeks here on our studio blog, so read on for some gorgeous navy and tangerine wedding inspiration!

All of the beautiful paper goods were designed by Alex Rinde of
The Aerialist Press, creating the perfect starting point for this nautical inspiration shoot at Casa Real. The incorporation of multiple patterns and beautiful calligraphy set the tone for a fun and sophisticated wedding.

We were greeted outside of the beautiful Casa Real by this vignette featuring the escort cards. Each guest could find their name on a card with a nautical knot attached which corresponds with their assigned table! We loved that idea and felt that the vintage ropes, wooden boxes and antique lanterns and clocks that Very Merry used as details went well with those large, rustic wooden doors that open up at the front of Casa Real. The vintage rentals were all from the super awesome Milkglass Vintage Rentals!

The gorgeous textures all layered in nicely in front of Casa Real’s entrance and were accented by pops of bright pink and orange flowers.

An awesome shot of the calligraphy here! Simple navy blue writing adorned these all-white letterpress escort cards. As we found our name we made our way inside to the reception area of this nautical inspiration shoot at Casa Real.

For this inspiration shoot Very Merry Events coordinated a few different options for the nautical themed tables inside Casa Real. This is the first with graphic, stenciled numbers and the knot to mark this reception table.

The dark Navy tablecloth acted as a backdrop for this first nautical table spread. Gold, orange and white accents found their places around this tablescape and helped to create a fresh, new approach to the timeless nautical theme.

Multiple orange floral arrangements were set as centerpieces for this nautical themed table, all lovingly created by the super talented team of Atelier Joya. The attention to detail and texture in each was astounding!

Tomorrow we’ll be back with more from this nautical shoot by Very Merry Events at Casa Real in Pleasanton, California! A big thanks and shout out to all of the bay area vendors who made this shoot possible:
