Ryan and Carissa were a pair made in heaven. Each photo was effortless and heart stirring, from the unbreakable bond the two clearly shared, to the amazing view of the vineyard behind them. When you think of a California Vineyard Wedding, Ryan and Carissa’s may be the dream wine country wedding you have in mind. R&C tied the knot at the Calistoga Ranch in Napa Valley California. Before the wedding, I took beautiful intimate shots of the bridesmaids gifting the bride, lovely trinkets and well wishes pertaining to the nuptials. She then after being primped and perfected her hair and makeup before she put on her dazzling earrings to match the stunning jewels on her dress. Photographing R&C was like capturing a country love story in motion. The mountainous scenery behind the vineyard with the gentle fall breeze gliding along the lake, embodied a movie scene coming to life in front of my very eyes. To compliment the beautiful gown and dresses as well as to prepare for a bit of a brisk evening, the ladies wore, stylish fur cover-ups, to add a glamorous touch to the already flawless dresses.
Ryan and his groomsmen were also dressed to the “T” in blue tuxedos with black lapels and matching bow-ties. The deep lapis blue Tuxedos created a nice contrast to the flowy blush colored dresses that fluttered down the beautiful green lush aisle behind them. While everyone in attendance looked fantastic, the bride dress hands down took the cake. Carissa’s hand stitched crystal embroidered illusion neckline was perfection. My camera picked up every glimmer and shine reflecting from the delicate detailing on her dress. There was no question that as she walked down the aisle she was the star. After the couple said their “I-Do’s” the wine and merry meant commenced! Laughs, love and a spirit of happiness and togetherness cascaded throughout the venue like wild fire.
Through the glitz and glamour of this wedding, there were immense amounts of joy to match the eternal bond of their vows. This wedding was such an amazing experience, I am so appreciative that they chose to share that with us at Milou and Olin, and that they have allowed us to share it with you.
