Emily and Vishal’s dreamy event is the epitome of a California winery wedding. Just recently our friends at Style Me Pretty featured this classic California winery wedding over on their site. At the ever-gorgeous Kunde Estate, they tied the knot in a secluded brick courtyard with a backdrop of blooms, captured amazing light-filled portraits beneath the trees, and danced the night away haloed by whimsical string lights. From the adorably styled ring bearers and flower girls to the professional swing dancers and berry-topped “naked” cake, there is so much to love about this wedding. Styled by the impeccable Mary Phan of Very Merry Events and filled out with the gorgeous florals of Soulflower Design Studio, it’s as inspirational as it gets.
We really want to share a bit of Emily + Vishal’s love story: The bride and the groom met at Yale in the medical community. The bride was a graduate student in nursing, the groom a medical resident. They spent three years dating in New Haven, Connecticut and both went on to work for Yale after graduation. They moved to Vishal’s hometown of Vancouver just last year, and work for the same hospital.
Vishal proposed in the new fallen snow on a December morning – he took Emily on a hiking trail she loved near her Aunt and Uncle’s home in Cheshire, Connecticut, and bravely delivered a romantic speech while shivering in the cold!
These two are picture perfect, and their ceremony was beyond gorgeous! And did you catch that adorable ring bearer with the parasol? Yeah, our heart melted too.
