This gorgeous loft-style, two-story event space is the ultimate blank canvas for the modern wedding. The Terra Gallery is just a hop over the Bay Bridge, in San Francisco’s SOMA district.

Two Huge, Light-filled Spaces to Choose From

Mer -The lower level, has inlaid glass tile serpentine bars, a contemporary receiving room, hardwood floors, a built-in oak stage with lighting and large restrooms. An adjacent 3,000 square-foot landscaped outdoor area can be tented to host up to 300.

Terra – The spacious open upper level, Terra, has 5,000 square feet of Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, white gallery walls hung with art, soaring 20-foot ceilings and a carpeted reception area with floor-to-ceiling windows with blackout capabilities.

For a completely customizable experience, the two spaces can be combined for different parts of your evening, or rented separately for a more intimate setting.

Why do we love it? Oh for so many reasons. This chic space is the ultimate for a modern couple, surrounded by SF landmarks, backdrop-worthy buildings, and endless photo-ops. Inside the venue, modern art decorates the minimalist space, large windows offer great views and lots of daylight, and professional grade kitchens on each floor ensure your catering vendor feels right at home.

Kristi + Mike : A Colorful Terra Gallery Wedding

This colorful duo incorporated some serious pinks, oranges, corals, and greens into their modern nuptials at Terra Gallery. Highlights include Kristi’s ruffled, feathered bridal gown, a mod pink and orange ceremony backdrop, and glam pink and gold table settings.

Don’t you love Mike’s wedding day style? A chic grey 3-piece suit keeps things modern and formal, while a bright boutonniere and tie add a punch of color.

This sweet shot was part of Kristi and Mike’s first look. They’re almost ready for the big moment!

This bridal party is full of modern romance! The bridesmaids’ sweetheart gowns in coral are punchy and fun next to the groomsmen’s grey suits. The dudes keep it classy with black dress shoes and white pocket squares.

Kristi’s megawatt smile is our favorite accessory she’s got! A pretty sweeping updo and feathery flowered strap are just icing on the cake that is her fun bridal look. A super colorful bouquet by Nicole Ha incorporates all her wedding colors.

Sometimes all you need is a park bench and a little breeze to the some dreamy wedding portraits!

Pretty spaces near the gallery aren’t hard to find – and Kristi’s gorgeous dress looks so dreamy drenched in natural light! Peek at the second photo for a close up of that killer bouquet!

Coordinated table numbers and cute personalized confetti bags are just a few of the colorful details in the event space! 

There is so much you can envision in this neutral lofty space – the possibilities are endless! Neutral sheeting made this large event space feel more intimate for the ceremony, and their large mod backdrop kept things colorful!

This happy couple was more than ready to say their “I do’s”, but not without a few laughs first!

Fearlessly pink tables light up the reception space for a glamorous, celebratory feel! Glittery table numbers, custom menu cards, and rhinestone centerpieces are far more chic than over-the-top.

The bridal party had its own style, with a pop of color on the table runner and the bridesmaid’s bouquets as centerpiece decor.

Sweet toasts and delicious food keep the party rolling after a lovely ceremony. The maid of honor’s updo is definitely one of our favorites!

The dessert table was so full of colorful treats, no one knew what to eat first! Mini cupcakes, cake pops, and confetti-clad cakes were everywhere!

A full view of this awesome table reveals a super mod backdrop and some metallic linens. It’s killer details like this that really make the decor pop!

The Mer floor of Terra Gallery is so big, that the whole night took place on one floor – and it never felt squished! From ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, the day was seamless.

These crazy kids partied well into the night, and had far too much fun! We so loved shooting every second!
