Our Favorite Venues for Fabulous Sacramento Weddings

Thinking about getting married in Sacramento? This diverse capital of California has some surprising hotspots, a thriving artistic midtown, glittering downtown, and miles of beautiful rolling hills on all sides. We’re a little biased, since this is the site of our production studio, but we’ll share a few reasons why Sacramento captures our heart.

Why We Love This Place:

• A Killer Foodie Scene – want a custom popsicle stand for post-reception noshing? Handmade marshmallows in your wedding colors? Gourmet sliders or dirty mac and cheese? These can all be found in spades around Sacramento’s midtown district. Small business owners have done well opening niche foodie-appeasing places, and newer, high-end restaurants are getting big shout-outs from critics. Your options for catering are literally endless.
• Varied Venues – You can get from Old Town Sacramento (an adorable ode to it’s wild west route) to downtown to the wide-open deltas of the Sacramento River in less time than it takes to order a pizza. If you’re looking for a historic hotel, lofty event space, rustic ranch, or beautiful park, you can find them all here.
• Bang for your Buck – Even though Sac is less than two hours from San Francisco and Tahoe, it has one of the the lowest costs of living in the state. Hotel pricing for your guests and venue rates are going to be cheaper than “destination” spots, because tourism isn’t a huge deal for this government-centric city.
• We’re here! Of course, you’re in our backyard. We can recommend the best local vendors, hotels, photo ops, and fun things to do while you’re in town.
