St. Helena is full of so many beautiful wine country venues, and Tra Vigne Restaurant has landed itself a spot on our favorites list. This colorful wedding was all modern romance, with vibrant purple and fuchsia details in everything from the bridesmaids’ getting ready robes, to the officiant’s corsage. It was also styled by our favorite people over at A Savvy Event!
From the Bride:
“We met and fell in love at UCLA. We met at a party before my sophomore year (Dan’s senior year). I joined his committee for Dance Marathon, a 26 hour dance marathon that raises money for pediatric AIDS prevention. The event shaped our relationship and we continued to work together throughout our college career.”
Perfectly manicured nails set off Tina’s beautiful ring! This purple-robed chick is ready for her big day!
A colorful mixture of bright blooms add punch to Tina’s bouquet, and fabulous purple Kate Spade heels complete her bridal look.
Bridesmaids wore purple-hued knee-length dresses with a ruched bodice and flower belt, while the bride’s strapless white gown featured pockets (yay! we always love pockets) a gathered sweetheart neckline, and a modern beaded belt.
We adore this shot of Tina as our blushing bride. Her sweet veil was the perfect final accessory!
“Dan proposed at Dance Marathon in 2011; as alumni, we always attend the event with other alums for a fun reunion and this being the 10th year, I was told we were going on stage for a fun Q&A session. To my surprise, the appearance was orchestrated for our proposal!” – Tina
Their bridal party got a little wacky before the ceremony : we always recommend surrounding yourself with people that can keep you laughing on your wedding day!
Tina and Dan had their ceremony in a little corner of Tra Vigne’s courtyard. Those amazing doors were the perfect ready-made backdrop!
“Dan and I love to spend time with each other, but also value time with our friends. We love to eat so exploring restaurants and bars is a favorite pastime. Dan is famous for his vast knowledge of where to go and what to do. We watch a lot of TV, getting into series marathons, but also enjoy reading at coffee shops. Dan cooks and I bake. We go to sporting events, take day trips, and spend a lot of time with friends. Above all, we love to travel. ” – Tina
What’s more fun that getting dressed up to eat?
A Napa Valley favorite, Tra Vigne has been serving Tuscan-style food al fresco on their gorgeous patio for over 25 years. (It’s always fun to have a wedding with guaranteed amazing food!)
Cute signage makes sure the guests of honor save their seats!
Lots of color and a clean palate are perfect for this classic wedding.
Toasts always get us teary-eyed. What’s your favorite part of a wedding?
A romantic twirl under the courtyard lights is a perfect way to usher in the night’s festivities.
Reception fun! This crowd had an awesome time dancing under the stars.
All the best you two!
