Who doesn’t love newborn baby pictures? We were overjoyed when we heard that one of our favorite wedding clients, Kari and Elan, were pregnant with their first child! We rushed down to Santa Monica to snag some cute maternity photos, and couldn’t wait to come back to see their little bundle of joy.
Kari and Elan put together a nursery that we absolutely loved – soft eggshell neutrals with a lot of texture and pops of oranges and yellows make the room a happy, calming space. 
The small details are what make a room look oh so pulled together! Orange patterned fabrics lend some modern style to this chic nursery.

Newborns (once they are asleep!) are so angelic. We love those pinchable cheeks of Lilah’s!

Elan looks like a proud new Daddy – he gets brownie points for giving Kari a break! 
The glow of new parents almost trumps the pregnant glow – there is so much joy in the air!

Kari and Elan’s puppy joins them for a family photo – all we’re missing is the roosters! 
What awesome accessories! I think a crocheted sleeping owl beanie is now on our list of best baby props!
All this crochet is priming little Lilah to be a bohemian beauty like her mama! 
Newborn shoots are the best!! We wish little Lilah and her fabulous parents all the luck and love in the world!
